Anyone guiding EQ8 with Lodestar using PHD or PHD2?  

Did motor firmware 2.10 fixed spike problem?

only,person I know is Stephen (moderator on here)  He has no issues with it I dont think.  If he

Out of interest, I used to see the spike problem on my non goto G11 and had a similar issues on another G11 mount  using the Loadstar.  Id the issue with the Loadstar, Software, St4 connection or the mount firmware ?

I guide with EQ8/Lodestar combination and PhD. No problems to report.

Hi -I guide with an EQ8 and Lodestar with PHD and have achieved good guiding with flat graphs - I  use a 420 APO 70 mm retractor as a guide scope - worked well once the DEC backlash issue was addressed - Tony

I am currently using the load star X2 on OAG on the eq8

RMS is at 0.30 still working to lower it

However stars are pin point
