Sun's surface mosaic from last night at 5.30BSTt

Surface mosaic of 12 X 1000 frame (best 25%) videos of the Sun's surface yesterday evening at 5.30pm BST
I didn't want to crop all of the lovely detail so just blacked out the blank areas. As you can see I've done a coloured version but I particularly like the mono version. Have a look at the side by side image and let me know which you prefer. There were some flares earlier in the day from AR2036 at the bottom of the image.
Captured using my Evolunt 150 solarscope and DMK camera.
Processed using PIPP, Autostakkert2 and PS5

Lovely work, John :laugh:  The blacking out looks very effective to me, food for thought, I normally go crop heavy

Edit: I prefer the coloured versions, but that's a bit like me preferring Lamborghini over Ferrari (not that I have one!)

I did do a stage 1  mod for Kev 1024 using an Evostar 120 Witn Ken (Merlin66) help and advice...

I was lazy and bought Photosbykev's LOHA   Stage2 PST scope - 102mm f11 Lyra optics with 110mm D-ERF and BF15, Borg Helical and Motorised dual speed Crayford focuser...

Lovely images and a lovely scope, too.

I think the coloured version shows up the finder detail more easily.  I wonder if that's why people tend to prefer them?
