...I think it might be pushing it for you folks in the UK/Nthn. Hemisphere to expect decent Saturn outcomes, especially this early in the apparition Dave - but you never know, even at low elevations it is very do-able (apologies to anyone whose images here I've overlooked!)

Down here in Oz it's somewhat different as Saturn is beginning to get more photogenic...this is from one of my threads on the next page taken last week http://stargazerslounge.com/topic/208737-nice-saturn-7-mars-morning/

i have had a couple of attempts, the conditions on both occasions were err.... lets say tricky! low altitude and the seeing terrible and all this at 4am!

Yeah I was gonna try my luck, at a place near me called view point.........but im guessing it was very difficult at the mo from the u.k.

I got this one of Feb 21st. Poor seeing and it was very low from here in the North of England, only 16 degrees altitude.
