Did the first sketch in between the clouds using my 6" f11 dob and 32mm plossl at 50x (plus Baader film and solar continuum filter) and the seeing seemed quite good.

I therefore switched to my 15mm TV plossl at 106x to see if the detail would hold for a further sketch. Thankfully it did but I started to get to the edge of my current sketching skills. Still, a nice record of the current formation. I am glad I took the chance when I did.

Loads of detail there, great sketches. Recently noticed FLO have a filter for £82 that fits my dob. Don't trust myself to make one! Seriously thinking of getting one.
