todd8137
Hi tinker I have no compas that will draw a circle this big ? I have tried the pencil string and tack it's a pain trying to draw a perfect circle and holding the pencil at the correct angle all the way round Thanks Pat
Bizibilder
It doesn't have to be a circle - cut a 16" square of paper and fold on each diagonal to find the centre. Open out and fold into quarters (ie two more folds that will also meet in the middle). Open out and cut off the corners (quite a rough circle will do) and you have a useable template. The folds will allow you to align it adequately.
Steve Ward
To get the right size circle just lay the mirror on the piece of paper and draw round it ... Then fold in half and mark the centre of the diameter .

Steve Ward
If you fold the circle in half and then into quarters the intersection of the creases will be exactly central , then just clip the corner off with scissors to give you the access for spotting. Moonshane
use a large dinner plate or pizza flatplate or anything of the right sort of diameter. get it as central as you can. check the dot by measuring four ways before sticking your centre circle down.taking the mirror out makes it a lot easier though.
