Saturn & Mars 16/02/14

First attempts at both.

Saturn as known is far from ideal at moment but had a crack regardless. Nothing compared to others but first of many more attempts to increase surface detail. Think focus is not quite there.

Managed a small amount of detail on mars but nothing compared to other recent posts.

Cheers

That is a great crack at Mars, - really well done. The main problem with it is that focus is really tough. (A little tip here which will help you with that is to wind down the Gamma to zero whilst focusing, not forgetting to put it back up again before taking the shot)! Keep up the good work!

P.s. There is nothing wrong with the saturn either considering it's low altitude. I got one last night but wasn't happy enough with it!
