February 16th Sun

With clear skies all day. I just had to image the Sun. This is the first time I have imaged the Sun this year. The seeing was good and I was able to get a very good focus. 

Canon 1000D with Baader filter. Mak 102 F13 on an Acuter mount. 1,125 second x 12 exposure's. Stacked in Registax 6 and processed in CS2, then wavelet adjustment in R6.

The Sun is very active in white light.

I did a sketch which when reversed (I was using a newt) matches your image well enough.
