My first Rosette

It's 3:45 a.m. here, I just came in from the backyard, I imaged the moon just now. It's been so cloudy here. I believe in the past month I've only seen maybe two good nights to observe/image. I get so restless when I can't use my telescope. Yes, processing is something I'm still learning. I noticed I never get color in my stars though, they are always white. How do I bring the colors out? Exposure time? Processing?

DSLRs are not the best for star colour because of their lower well depth. The stellar cores saturate early. You could try some short exposures just for the cores. Combining them is slightly tricky but gets easier of you have Noel's Actions for Photoshop. However, Martin B's tutorials on here take you through how to make a star selection manually.
