Looks like a couple great nights observing Jupiter Paul.

Its surprising just how quickly things change when your really looking don't you think?

Superb ! As always Newts are planetary killers. There have been some stunning nights here. It's tempting to photo, but sketches are immediate , energetic and fresh to me,

Smashing drawings Paul.  It always gives me a thrill to see  nicely executed planetary drawings like these.  I have to say that photographs/images just don't spin my wheels is the same way, though I can appreciate the work that goes into obtaining them.  It's probably a generational thing!
