CS6 .tiff problem

Hi out there and a happy new year to all. The other night I had a good session with my new QHY8L and took images of Orion and Andromeda. I used deeskystacker and saved an auto .tiff file.  I then opened it in cs6 and the imaged appeared. I however can not do anything with it . If I try to make a copy it will not . The Level window opens but not the curve. If I open another tiff file made the other day it works fine. What am I doing wrong ? any ideas

The DSS autosave TIFF often has problems with loading if you just do a "save picture to a file" and use that then it should be fine.

Make sure the DSS is saving in 16bit, Ps tends to throw a bit of a wobbly if you do things in 32bit.

As above, its saving as a 32 bit tif which only allows certain adjustments. You need to convert to 16 bit >edit>mode>16bit (box opens up & gives various options, have a play with these). You will have access to curves etc.
