Searching for an adaptor

Hi

For Christmas a nice new 32mm eyepeice with removeable eye cup arrived but unfortunteately S&S do not currently have the camera adaptor size I require, camera filter thread is 55mm to the eyepeice 42mm.

Can any one please point to a magical UK supplier for one?

I have been googling away and turned up nothing in that size apart from possibly one in America.

Or do you even need the lens on the camera?  Can you just use a T-ring?

Not for the camera I intend to use, it is a Kodak DX6490 for which I have a lense sleeve that presents a 55mm filter thread. Hopefully light enough camera for the Heritage to cope with.

They're a nightmare to find unless you know what to search for  I use step-down rings to fit a 2" LP filter to the front of my lenses on those occasions when I need one.  They're quite handy.

Why not get one made? The chap used by Flo for custom adapters etc. is very reasonable.

I will keep that in mind if the one ordered doesn't work out, thank you for the idea.
