daz
You could mount the camera and lens on the top of the scope and image that way, as well as imaging through the scope....
Roy Batty
Graham,The C8-N has a built-in "T-Mount" attachment that you can use to attach your Canon EOS to, but you will also need a "T-Ring" to attach the camera body to. See the following FLO link: http://www.firstlightoptics.com/products.php?cat=55As far as I can remember to attach the "T-Ring" to the "T-Mount" you'll need to unscrew the 1.25" eyepiece holder from the telescope focuser. This will expose a male thread that will screw into the "T-Ring".With this set up you can do what is called "prime focus" astrophotography - which means effectively your using the telescope optics instead of a camera lens for getting an image.RB
Ant
I would also suggest getting the lens. It's good for ultra wide field shot (milky way, meteor etc). And then you can also use it for normal daytime photography as well.Ant
