A quick M42, as I was 'fed up'

After several hours of clear sky wasted, playing around the new Lodestar guide cam, and feeling a bit 'fed up' with it all, I decided to at least 'grab' an image of something before going to bed.

M42 was 'handy' so I 'grabbed' 22 x 30 sec subs, unguided, and went off to bed.

SXVF-H9C, 12" LX200R + f/3.3 FR.

Often have the least expected problems occuring - that's why we do this, isn't it!!??

What's the problem with the Lodestar?

I can only wonder at how the central area of this is so visible, when normally it is a white out. The Trap. is plain to see.

Also if that is unguided, it has to be considered a very successful outcome.

The Lodestar won't be a problem Dave. You are bound to get it to do your bidding.
