The Witches Nose

A hard pushed single sub of part The Witch Head Nebula IC2118 in Eridanus. This Nebula is rather large- over 3 degrees long. Next time I might try a camera lens?

600s @ ISO3200 200mm F2.9 Newtonian

Nice for a single sub albeit 10 mins. A little blue and maybe some star trailing?  What  focal length you reckoning on getting her in frame? 100-135mm maybe?

That is great for a single sub - very good indeed!

You got that star I call the "earring" too  You should try stitching a few of these together using the best corrected part of the field so you can get the whole thing (which is big!). Shouldnt take long on your setup.

Im still waiting for this one, it doesnt turn up until daft-o'clock for me at the moment. Might be worth using just the Blue filter to start off with.
