Beulah
I know there is incredible excitement about the sungrazed Ison, but Comet Lovejoy is looking amazing at the moment. Was out this morning at 6am - the comet is currently in the vicinity of Boötes and it was looking splendid through my 10x50 binoculars. It had a greenish tint to it, with a very noticeable nucleus and long tail.It is well worth postponing that weekend 'lay in' to see it! (I've forgotten what those are )

Dave Wall
had a quick look this morning in my 15x70 bins looked like a smudge. Will have a longer look at it tonight or in the morning if clear.
MYLUCKYSTARS
I was probably looking at Lovejoy at the same time. Lovejoy & Jupiter(Galilean moons) was what I was looking at this morning
Lorne
I managed to spot Lovejoy's smudge last night with my bins just after it got dark, any later and it swings round behind my neighbour's house and into the LP bubble over my town, if its clear today I'm planning to have the scope set up ready for it. (I've just jinxed this haven't I)
