The fastest acquisition of an astro pic I have ever made!

In the box with the Skywatcher 150ED there is an assortment of fittings, including one for a DSLR. I wanted to use the scope to get a widefield full colour photograph of Comet R1 Lovejoy, so put the normal CCD's aside and dropped on my old faithful 400D.

Used the moon for focus, and got this single image in 1/800th second, iso 100.

I'm more used to taking images over 20 or 30 hours, so this one is lightspeed for me :)

Cheers

Tim
