Can`t download Comet data for Cdc ?

I keep getting this error message when trying to update the Comet listing in CdC, any ideas why please?

Just tried to download the latest Comets....OK -no issues??????

Very odd - OK for me too. Can you double check the URL that is being used, my CdC is using: http://www.minorplanetcenter.net/iau/Ephemerides/Comets/Soft00Cmt.txt

Thanks Ken and Mike. I have that URL in Cdc but it doesn`t like it for some reason??. I`ve had to download the text file and save it to hard drive then load it into Cdc, no big deal!. Strange as I have the same Cdc 3.8 on another laptop and it updates Comet data fine?

Steve,

Might be a firewall issue?  Check your firewall logs & configuration to see if connection to that domain or if CdC itself is getting blocked.  Can you download the asteroid data file okay? (URL for that one is http://www.ap-i.net/pub/skychart/mpc/mpc5000.dat)

You could try running CdC as administrator - should get round any permissions problems.  Saying that I havn't had any problems either.
