Hi all,

Been a long time since I last captured any planet mainly because bad seeing and very high humidity, but the new ASI120MM arrived a couple of days ago , and the seeing was starting to get better as well!

First time I captured jupiter with a dedicated planetary camera and I think I got some deecent details:

3X barlow:

5X Powermate:

Close up on Callisto and Europa shadow:

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Many thanks everybody .

Very nice. A little bit of onion ring (i think thats what its called) in the images. But really is quite interesting how much difference in quality there is between the barlow and the powermate.

I was wondering about this artifact... do you know how to fix it?

very nice detail Ilan, when is the filter wheel due?

Dror

I will probably buy an IR filter first and later the LRGB filters and filter wheel.
