Full Moon Imaging...

Hello All,

Despite the Moon lighting up my garden like I had all of Wembley's floodlights last night I still managed to get some half decent viewing in.  I did not attempt any Galaxies as I'm sure that would have been a struggle but I was pleased with some of the nebular targets:

The Moon was naturally live and both the Dumbbell and the Ring were capture on 7 second integrations so not too bad I thought.

Regards

Very nice...crisp edges on the moon cracking, ,, the dumbell was it single or stacked images, ,, big heap of darks would make it very very nice...brilliant blue colouring on the stars in the ring nebulae image. ...brilliant work sir......Davy

Thanks Davey, it looks better on screen.  No stacking I do not know how yet it is simply 7 seconds integration the image pops on the TV and then I snap it but again it looks better when viewing the TV.  Are these stars meant to be blue?  I was not sure if it was hot pixels or something though now you have pointed it out it might explain the blue I got on Neptune :help:

Cheers Davey

Karl
