I LOVE LIGHT POLLUTION,for one reason...

I've seen the sky with literally no pollution 3 miles up on a plane, and I can say that familiar patterns can be tricky to identify. It's easier to practice the constellations and become familiar under lp, then go to a dark site and find the objects.

I can't say I love light pollution though.

Damn it I wish I could make out the main stars in Cygnus :p

Taken from my holiday cottage in Central France - yes I do struggle with constellations when I'm there and not in the West Mids!

easy! just below the brightest star in the field which is Vega :grin:
