Just picked up the september issue today. Actually half a mount. Tripod this month. Parallel next month. Seriously thinking of giving this a go. Seems well within my modest capabilities.

I can't find a way to print the plans to scale.

Might be interesting to look at their plans. I have a standard aluminium box-section tripod spare. I was planning to make a parallelogram mount to fit that.

I have a spare tripod so that's good news as my subscription should start with Octobers issue. :-)
