£300 for the pair. Nowt to do with me :-)

And to describe it as a "2x eyepiece" ? Makes it sound a little like they don't really know what they have.

It does sound a tad suspect, they also state eyepiece and not eyepieces !!!

Gosh you are a suspicious lot :-). Yes, that's the one.

I always view these things on Gumtree as pick up only so limited risk, and there are pictures attached so didn't seem too dodgy but maybe you are right. Always best to be cautious

I would only pick up as the English used is lacking a certain grasp.

Strange to sell brand new unused Televue gear for so little.

That is my concern. The way the ad is written it really doesn't sound like the seller understands what they're offering for sale. Nor do I believe that the kind of person I imagine would buy such eyepieces would then sell them unused because their "telescope broke". Also, if they're pretty much untouched, where is the documentation that comes in the box? Normally it's neatly folded and wrapped around the eyepiece. I see what looks like packaging, but nothing else.

It all looks rather dodgy to me.
