Saturn last night 03/06/13

Superb Saturn last night, the seeing was the best I've had this year so far. Moments of calm lasting several seconds. Cassini very seen all the way round the rings. Managed to nudge up to x240 but the best views were had at x200. The actual views were some of the crispest I can recall for Saturn, attached is an afocal shot whilst nowhere near what I could see in the eyepiece still not too bad.

Same here. It was sharp even when it was still quite light out.

Been really transparent conditions lately. Saturn has been so very crisp with so many fine details and a good target when darkness is hard to find,

Nice one Hals, glad you got some great views. Was pretty good down here but observing over houses limited me to around x150. Still lovely Cassini and shadow detail visible.

It doesn't seem to go dark here, it's like living in

the twilight zone, thank goodness for Saturn, been

really good for the last three nights.
