Bit late posting this. Shot yesterday SkyMax 127, Canon 450D, small frame selection from 80 subs. Iso 800, shutter 1/1250th, Baader solar film x5 ND.

Hi Roger - simple answer Yes!

I shoot RAW format. Then open all and do a manual alignment and confirm images I want to use in AA5. Then depending on the image I will either save as 16 bit tiff and go to PS or if it looks awkward I'll save as a fit file and go to PS via FITS Liberator.

Colour is added in PS as adjustment layers (blend 85 + Yellow). Levels etc all as adjustment layers until I'm happy!

Found the problem in the custom settings (Highlight Tone Priority set). Reset all now and exposures are more scenseable.
