hi can the basic heq5 that flow sells be fitted with the synscan handset from the eq3/2 pro mount....cheers davy

If it can't be fitted with a synscan controller then the motors and motherboard are no good for EQmod either....you'd need a major upgrade...

The syntrek version will work without any problems and can also be used with EQMOD and stellarium/CDC via an EQDirect module or through your synscan handset.

Cheers ed..I had more of a look at the basic heq5 the upgrade is 300 pounds it has a mother board motors and hand set cheaper investment is as you say the syntreke model...may just go for the eq5pro just trying to upgrade a bit from eq3 /2 pro.....thanks for help folks..Davy
