Night time beach, Panama

My daughter is currently working in Panama so we thought we would go out there for a visit and a holiday. What a place for a holiday! The country is only just waking up to tourism so no major development yet but some wonderful places to stay including this place where we spent our second week. Casa Cayuco, on the island of Bastimentos just off the mainland on the Caribbean side. KLM flights for a little over £500 with holiday accommodation from back packer to luxury. Go whilst it is relatively undiscovered!

A fantastic looking location Martin. I tried to recognise the star patterns from your photo but failed. Have you been able to hire a bike whilst there?

Thanks Mark. It's just 9 deg north of the equator so Orion is more or less on it's side. The bright star bottom right is Aldeberan, Sirius is left side of middle.

We went into the hills for 3 days, fantastic cycling country but don't think there was any road bike hire.
