Star chart for a smart phone

Can any one recommend a free star atlas for a smart phone. I've recently upgraded from a basic phone and text device to a HTC desire X

Well for Android I could recommend the Google Sky and SkEye apps, both free.

Recently I have started to use Stellarium Mobile which costs a couple of quid but is very good.

Try mobile observatory - they do a free one and a paid version, both are very accurate

I've got Google sky, SkyEye, Sky Safari, Stellarium and am about to download Carte du Ciel for my Samsung Tab. Don't really need to go outside again

SkEye is pretty good. Not so struck on Google maps. Stellarium is OK on android but it has a sort of unfinished feel about it. Not as good or as featured as the PC version and irritating that it does not remember your settings. Cant beat the old S&T pocket atlas!
