Amazing photos. 'Joe Public' and other earthlings see and take for granted what takes years to build, evolve and admire. Then 'we' [amateur astronomers] see something that takes thousands or millions of years to build, evolve and admire.

Time to switch off the lights, especially with the threat of power shortsges.

indeed bring on the power cuts ! although I guess demand itsn't very high during the night so we're more likely to get cuts during the day
