Hello and welcome from me too :smiley: I have the same scope - great scope but the mount can be really frustrating, as you have found out :grin: I ended up removing the motor drive but the tripod bracing bars fell apart! Best of luck with that one - replacing it might be a good idea... as I said, great scope though, fantastic clear views of the Moon, Orion nebula etc.
