Hi all.

These are my first two attempts as a complete novice to imaging as well as viewing, I'm using a Skywatcher Heritage 130p with a £9.99 Maplins web cam attached to a 35mm film canister.

For those of you old enough to remember, check out the CLANGER hanging onto the dark crater in the second video !!!

(well it looks like one to me !)

Nah that's the soup dragon :-)

Is that with the 10mm eyepeice?

Hi happy-cat, no eyepiece was used to take the vid, just the web cam inserted into the eyepiece holder. I tried using a barlow but was unable to get the picture focused, don't know why that should be ?

Most deffinately a Clanger....

Nice vids, as James has said would be great if you could keep an area in frame to enable stacking of the video to get a single picture....

Hi Ady and James.

My 130p is a dob mount that has to be manually tracked so I just let the moon drift by as I was recording.

I did take a few still shots of it though that I played about with in Picasa.
