M13 first try

Just a quick shot of M13. This is one frame out of a whole bunch i took tonight but after stacking in DSS I preferrred the single frame.

The moon was really bright, washing out the sky here. Doesn't help that the house is painted white so adding to the glow - no need for a red torch here tonight.

Might not be a brilliant image but I'm pleased with it for my first try at this DSO.

Nothing wrong with that one Andy , glob nicely resolved, yes the moon is very bright,so images will always suffer a bit on that score, myself i dont bother to image , use these times for testing and trying other methods ,whatever,

It is a nice image but that Moon was bright last night and the background has suffered as you would expect but lots of detail in there under trying conditions!

Given the intrusive moonlight Andy, there's nowt wrong with the image at all. It's sharp to the core, and a real nice wide view, I like it.

Yep, a very 'milky' sky, but there's still lots of good detail showing in the cluster.

Nice first try Andy! I love seeing faint ngc6207 in M13's shots. It seams you nailed that one as well. Good job.
