Hi Just managed a few 90 second subs tonight before clouds rolled in....

Nice nice, especially for 90 sec! Is it possible to find and track comets btw? Or how do you easiest take pics like this? Never tried (or even found any) comets before. Looks interesting.

Thanks Jannis: used a goto mount and comet data downloaded to CdC planetarium software (free)

I've been trying today to get an animation together and provide some of the 'missing' details from the above:

The animation: 34x90 second exposures:

Kit used:

MN190 f5.3 with Atik 383L+ SX FW and Baader 36mm lumin filter selected on NEQ6 mount guided with EQMod and lodestar guidecam in OAG.

Couldn't believe how many bits of litter went through while capturing this this short sequence....

Seiichi Yoshida's page is showing it about mag10 having just past its max mag of 8ish. (some obs. put the max at 7.5ish
