Actually managed to catch a lucky gap between the snow flurries today . . .

Only just time for a hurried 50 frames , but that was plenty to help relieve the itch caused by yesterdays disappointing session . . .

Had to drop settings way off normal as shooting through a generally milky sky with fleeting thin clouds thrown in . . .

"Pre-tweaked" the RAW's ( moved the black-point up to let me boost the contrast) before converting and stacking , used just 11 frames in the end.

Was really pleased to join Roger in grabbing a record of the very large group of AR's that have eluded us all week . . .

1000D + ST120 + ND3.8 + 1.8 x Barlow + UHC + S/L.

1/400s @ ISO 200 , 11/50 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp2.8.
