M1 a work in progress

heres were im at with M1 1.4 hours @250 sec subs iso 800 under half moon so i think the fine detail is being washed out cant wait to have a go when theres no moon. i have eggy stars due the guiding playing up last night i just cant figure the settings to guide at long focal lengths with a finder guider.

That's coming along nicely, your getting lots of detail in the outer tendrils. Can't wait till Xmas so I can get the adapter for my finder guider to try myself.

just the stock duel speed, could do with upgrading but i dont know whether im coming or going with this scope yet

I don't understand why they don't fit an uprated unit in the first place, considering it's primary use is for imaging

have to say the noise is rather low thanks to the Baltic -2.4 night in the obsy. really need to crack on with the warm room
