The sun in HA 18-11-12

Hi,

This morning started off bright and sunny, hardly a cloud, but I was race officer at my local sailing club, so wasn't going to get much of a chance.

As it was still clear when I was setting off, I took my Lunt to the sailing club, it is 750ft above sea level in the northern pennines near Durham, but unfortunately when I got there the high cloud had rolled in and there was big clumps of lower cloud. I rattled off a quick full disc and and another for the proms, but the top half of the disc was covered in a line of cloud, so it has come out a little dark and difficult to get the contrast right.

I didn't have time to get any 2x before the cloud finished the session, but I notice that 'the ring' I saw yesterday is gone.

Those traces across the surface are interesting, and lots of small action at the surface.

That's a. cracking prom you caught there. Clouds came in before I had chance to get the PST out today.
