What exactly is a "deluxe eyepatch"? I mean, what makes it "deluxe"?

The price really if you could find one between £30-£40 it would have to be a bit special.

pop into your local "the works" i went in mine last week and they had loads and loads of different astronomy books (even a hubble print book ready for framing) all under £15 i was sooo tempted to get one,

other wise the mask mentioned above

a foam insert case (look with maplins)

red coloured torch

coloured filters for eyepeices

red acitate for placing on any white lights shining in garden (also DIY torch)

a head lamp (with red leds or red acitate)

+1 for a Telrad and Baader Optical Wonder Fluid! I the keeping warm front I would certainly keep an eye for some cheap snow boarding trousers that will help you keep toasty. In anticipation of the incoming long cold nights, for £43 you could purchase this dewheater set which although intended to fit an ETX 80 & 90 scope, would I'm sure be big enough to fit your Skywatcher ED80?
