Autostar 497 handset - time setting

Hi,

just got this and can't see anywhere it says about this.

Do I have to add the date and time to handset whenever I switch on the the ETX 105pe.

At the moment it keeps the time when the power is on however switch off the power handset stops clock and resumes at the incorrect time when you switch it back on.

Most goto handsets don't store the time and date and the Meade is one of them. You will need to re-enter the time and date each time you switch the mount on.

Ah Meade instructions, bit like flat pack furniture instuctions, best to screw them up and put in the bin before you start

It is in the "normal" align but missing in the auto align instructions.
