Very quick Cygnus Loop in Ha from last night

Managed a very short imaging session last night between the clouds. Wide-field camera, 200mm f3.5 lens stopped down to f5.6 Camera cooled with CPU cooler and cold finger only (no Peltier TEC). This is just 6 lights of 300s at ISO 3200 and 10C, no darks, flats or bias frames, stacked in DSS and post-processed in PS, converted to greyscale, slightly cropped and histogram stretched.

Hi Gina, The high iso has certainly pulled in alot of light for 30 minutes worth of subs,

You must have dived inbetween the clouds for that one.

well done Paul

Thank you :) Yes, it was a very short run and even that was interrupted by some lumps of cloud. I wasn't able to use any longer exposure as the gaps between clouds were only about 5 or 6 minutes.

I'm very much looking forward to some clear nights when I can get several dozen lights rather than a mere half a dozen.
