M33 from Kelling Heath

Here is the image of M33 I captured at Kelling Heath on the Tuesday night. Again, miles better than I could possibly hope to achieve from the light polluted suburban skies of my back garden observatory.

Very nice capture Michael. Am I the only one to see strange streaks in the sky background. I am sure it is the result of stacking, I have had similar problems before with DSS.

No, there is a red diagonal streaking in the background pattern that goes top right to bottom left. I've got the same issue on my image of M31. In both instances I think it has appeared because of how hard I've pushed the curves/levels. My guess is that this pattern noise that distorted because dithering was used during image capture. Obviuosly, without the dithering the pattern noise would have been even more noticeable.
