Two from the weekend m57 and IC5146

Hi took these two at the weekend the ring nebula m57 was after a failed attempt to image the crescent nebula on friday.The 200p was the scope used and guided using qhy5 and finderguider. I used the canon 450 modded with a baader neodynium filter.Both images processed in DSS and photoshop.

M57 25 subs at 90secs,darks and flats also used

For this one I wanted to try for a lot longer exposures to see how i got on with the guiding and all seemed to go well.

cocoon nebula IC5146, 10 subs at 500secs 5 darks and 16 flats

I am aware that I need a coma corrector but alas that will have to wait.All comments welcome and advice appreciated ps. these are the first images I have processed in photoshop only had gimp previously.Thanks for looking

Very nice. I love the star colour on the Cocoon. It;s easy to blow out the stars on longish exposures with a DSLR.
