The Sun 25 July 2012 white light

Today's Sun taken this morning to try and benefit from less turbulent seeing - it was better but still no good. Anyway, another chance to use my new QHY IMG132E on the spotty bits. It seems the larger format (1280x1024) looks promising for "wide" close-ups. The only problem with this so far is a limit of around 480 frames per .avi as I hit the 2Gb barrier in Windows. I need to spend some time getting the processing of these new camera images sorted out - for the moment they are being put through my normal "full disc" action in PS.

I shot a bunch at 8 am , but have only just managed to get out of the heat and start playing with them.

I wondered about attaching the H9 to the PST, but it didn't really work at about 2 frames every 3 seconds or so...
