Well after months of wondering if the stars were still there - it was actually clear last night!

So set up and hit 3 targets. Not to produce outstanding images but more to get my hand back in and test everything still works!

I also tried my cheap Tesco value webcam that I glued directly to a 25mm eyepiece in the ST80 for guiding. I worked straight away and I had no problem grabbing guide stars (unlike the SPC which gave no end of problems)

Anyway. M31 6x5mins and 5x1mins plus darks

M20 1x60sec (Actually thought it was behind neighbours house. so amazing how much I got from that!)

And finally M16 10x2mins plus darks

All in all an enjoyable night. All pics through 150p on HEQ5 with EOS 30D guided with PHP

Cheers

Well done. I have to admit that when I went out to realign my EQ3-2 last night I had to think very hard about what I needed to do as it was the first time I've used it since March. It's so much harder when you're out of practice :(
