Dumbell Nebula

I had a bit of a rustic attempt at the Dumbell last night, no darks, flats or bias, and a very quickly made cardboard Y-mask just used 32 x 50 seconds subs at ISO 800 with my modded Canon 350D on my 150p. The results were stacked in DSS and levels and curves in Paint Shop.

Great first go at that It should be very good with more date plus darks, flats etc.

Yes good start. I hope you revisit it with the calibration pics I'm sure it will reap the rewards

Thank you:) the backgrounds looking a bit magenta now I've uploaded it, I'll try and compensate for this when I add more data and calibration frames.
