Can I buy a new objective lens from anywhere

Hi does anyone know if it is possible to buy just the objective lens cell for a 4.7 inch refactor from anywhere ?

Is there anything wrong with your current lens? Was it not included with the rest of the scope?

www.istar-optical.com might cost more than a new scope though.

Istar don't do a 120mm objective, 104mm (100 clear) or 131mm (127 clear).

If it were for an existing tube, you would need an identical one, with respect to diameter and focal length, to what was originally present.

Barride have a few achromat's but no 120mm.

Sure I have seen ED's somewhere.

A new scope (OTA) will probably cost less than a seperate lens!
