Gina Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 I put both red and white lights in both warm room and scope room but being an imaging fanatic I've found the red lights are redundant - I don't need dark adapted vision. But for observing you will probably want both. Dimmers are a big help too so that you can use brighter light for setting up then reduce the light as your eyes accommodate to the lower light for observing.
