Better seeing last night at least till the clouds rolled in, managed to get a few avis off at least.

Both shots at f/30 - 6000 frames, gain almost maxed out at 1/15 exp. Thanks Neil for some good advice regarding histo. SIMON.

Your certainly getting there Simon, good results.

This is all good training for when Jupiter returns. Saturn is a tough target for our size optics. So its going to help when a somewhat easier jupiter is high overhead. Think your doing great. A big improvement over the last set well done. Can expect some top notch Jupiters from you by the looks in the next few weeks. Can easily do f30 on that, if not more.

A great image Simon. There have been a few good saturn's posted recently. I just wish I had the energy to go out so late at night. It doesn't get dark around here till about 23:00 and bed is the only thing on my mind.
