Printing star charts left-right inverted for Schmidt-Cassegrain

Hi,

I would like to ask if you know any computer trick to print star charts with left-right inverted as seen in the telescope. Or a softwere program that can give that mirror effect.

I sometimes struggle to read the charts properly, specialy searching for comets.

That would be really useful.

Suppose the left to right, could be done, by doing a flip of the pdf.

But i've not heard of anything to do mirror image - but sure someone will confirm if there is.

Cartes du Ciel has the facility to flip maps. It is available as a free download.

You can flip maps horizontally and vertically in Stellarium as well. Think you have to enable the icons if they are not already showing (configuration window, navigation tab at the bottom under other).

In stellarium the Ocular view work, if you specify you are using a diagonal with your SCT or frac. It then shows the correct orientation.
