A mediocre M4

I haven't imaged for ages but now the observatory is set up I was keen to have a go. M4 was in the right spot so worth being used to test the setup. The attached image is 10 X 30 secs at ISO400 with a Canon 1000D Modded, 250px newt all on an EQ6. Looks like I need to take a new set of darks to get rid of the new hot pixels. Anyway if you haven't seem M4 before, it kind of looks like this:

Can I ask (out of ignorance) is it actually that orange/gold colour, or is that imparted from something else?

Nah that's just my rush job processing, I probably should have boosted the blue a bit.
