Nexus6 went last year but I think it was cloudy all the time he was there so never got to use the 20"?

When it dark , its very dark ..........the rest of the time its cloudy

I plan to go here Elenydd Wilderness Hostels : simple accomodation in the hills of mid Wales the things you got to do when your skint hey. £6 per night camping in the middle of nowhere.

I liked the bit on their site where they said mobile phones don't work too. Proper peace and quiet.

What the journalist fails to point out is that if you go north in the British summer there won't be any astronomical darkness however free from light pollution you are!

However, it is good to see astronomy getting some publicity.

I was drinking in there last Saturday but the Star Inn is currently up for sale- I would definatley ring and check prices before booking. I don't believe it will remain a pub for much longer, a lot of country pubs are closing at the moment.

ps There's no mobile phone reception up here either!
