Gentleman,

Can someone tell me what these are? They are on every frame in the same place and dont move.

Im guessing they must be a function of the camera. Suspecting the chip is on the way out. The camera has taken nearly 10K photos.

Look like hot spots (dead pix)

These are 'hot' pixels - all sensors have them to some extent - a dark frame subtraction will help to remove them but failing that, it's the 'clone' tool in most image processing software!

Thing is I have done lots of image processing over the years on images taken with this camera and I have never noticed them before.

Are they likely to get worse with the more miles on the camera?

I think they tend to appear on longer exposures. They are not very apparent on my camera on non-astro pics.

they probably will get more over time, but are easily processed out with dark frames.you could even let the camera subtract a dark frame after your photo is taken but most people subtract them later to save time
